The mission of the Yoe Town Harriers Running Club (YTHRC) is to promote honorable and ethical behavior and to build strong character and integrity in local student athletes. Team members will display sportsmanship with their teammates and competitors, and they will treat peers and adults with appropriate respect and dignity. All conduct will be centered on developing team strength and esprit de corp.

To work with YTHRC member athletes (male and female) who have the desire and potential to compete in long distance running on a national level; and

To help YTHRC member athletes to train, improve, and compete on a national level.

To be eligible for Regional and National competitions, YTHRC member athletes must: A. Train at least 200 days per year under the direction of the YTHRC coach(es); B. Satisfy any qualifying standards for such competitions, or be selected as a manager; C. Conform to YTHRC’s code of conduct and demonstrate a desire for personal and team excellence; and D. Be in good standing with their school.
